Royal Palm Hotel on Umhlanga Ridge, KwaZulu Natal, has unveiled the refurbished main hotel lounge, restaurant and bar area.

A complete overhaul of the restaurant, both internally and externally, has seen tables and chairs replaced, large harvest tables installed for the buffet areas, new lighting installed and a new open-viewing glass kitchen for guests to view live cooking. 

The main lounge area showcases new couches, coffee tables and rugs.

The revamp has also seen the complete separation of the bar area from the restaurant, with a dark wood bar being added to the venue, complete with cocktail tables and seating booths. Display cases have been installed for regular guests to store their liquor of choice, with a plaque displaying their names.
