Silverstone Air launched daily flights to Lodwar in north-western Kenya on January 19.
The new flight departs from Wilson Airport in Nairobi and will allow better connections for leisure and business customers travelling to the growing town of Lodwar.
Until October last year, the carrier operated on a charter-only basis, and then began offering commercial flights from Nairobi to Lamu, Ukundu, Kisumu and Malindi.
The airline will also be launching flights to Homabay, on the south shore of Winam Gulf of Lake Victoria in western Kenya, as well as direct flights between Kisumu and Mombasa.
Patrick Oketch, Sales Head of Silverstone Air, said the new routes were expected to take off by the end of February.
The carrier will operate five aircraft on its local routes, two Dash-8s and three Fokker 50s.
