Uganda Airlines is eyeing multiple international routes and plans to launch flights to more destinations this year, a senior airline official told Tourism Update.
This includes flights to China. The airline was recently granted rights to operate one flight a week to Guangzhou from Entebbe.
Uganda Airlines Corporate Affairs and Public Relations Manager, Rahim Shakila Lamar, said plans were at an advanced stage, and that the schedule would be communicated at a later stage.
He said the airline was hoping to launch the flights this year, deploying an A330-800neo aircraft.
Lamar said the carrier was also working on launching and resuming other international flights this year, including Mumbai, Jeddah and London.
