A mobile application allowing users to observe and contribute to the conservation of Ugandan gorillas, ‘My Gorilla Family’, has been launched by The Naturalist, a Ugandan conservation company.

The app is part of The Naturalist’s Home of the Gorillas initiative, which seeks to commercialise activities not related to gorilla trekking to continue contributing to conservation of the primates in Uganda outside of traditional trekking activities taken by tourists.
