Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO) has launched a virtual tour of Botswana’s tourism product offering, Botswana Live, in a bid to lure back travellers.
“The launch of this virtual tour is a clear demonstration of our eagerness to get tourism back on track as soon as practicable,” said Botswana President, Mokgweetsi Eric Masisi.
According to BTO, the initiative, which is hosted on an interactive user interface platform, aims to profile, market, and promote Botswana's various destinations. The tour will take potential tourists to various destinations across the country, showcasing the beauty and uniqueness of the country’s tourism offering.
It covers destinations such as the Okavango Delta, Tuli area, Goo Moremi Gorge, the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Makgadikgadi, Chobe, Kgalagadi, and the capital, Gaborone, and its surroundings.
