AS part of Cape Town Tourism’s (CTT) strategy to develop its Visitor Information Centre (VIC) network, Gordon’s Bay has been pinpointed as one of several destinations to open a branch.
The newly opened centre will be a resource for information and reservations pertaining to accommodation, tours, vehicle hire, shuttle services, eating out, wine tours, sport & adventure, shopping, travel tips and much more.
“Expanding our network helps us to extend our service and provide many more visitors with direct and personal access to information. We want to make this service widely accessible. As an official tourism body, we owe it to our visitors to be there when they need us,” says Mariëtte du Toit-Helmbold, CEO of CTT.
The body is also encouraging Gordon’s Bay tourism industry to take advantage of this increased presence in their area by becoming CTT members. The programme provides benefits that are designed to drive bookings and give business support through information and networking opportunities
