Chobe Water Villas, on the eastern tip of the Caprivi Strip in Namibia’s recently renamed Zambezi region, opened earlier this month.
The lodge, which has 16 boutique-style rooms, is in the Kasika Conservancy on the banks of the Chobe River and near Kasane in Botswana.
The Namibian Deputy Minister of Environment & Tourism, Tommy Nambahu, said: “The Chobe Water Villas is breath-taking. With its unique structure and amazing set-up, it is certainly a destination bound to create beautiful, unique and memorable experiences, not only for local, but also international tourists. “
Chobe Water Villas overlooks the Chobe National Park and Kasikili (Sedudu) Island, which is populated with wildlife species, including elephant, lion, buffalo, hippo, eight species of antelope and 460 species of birds.
