Norman Carr Safaris, in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park, has rebuilt two of its camps to accommodate families.
Mchenja and Kakuli Camps now each have two-bedroom, two-bathroom interconnecting family accommodation. The new rooms opened at the end of May and both have large decks with views across the Luangwa River.
These are the first camps inside the Luangwa National Park to offer family accommodation.
A maximum of three children under 18 can be accommodated in the second bedroom.
The South Luangwa is home to walking safaris, where children from 12 years and over are able to share in game walks as well as drives with their family in the remote Zambian bush.
