Nthula Airport Lounges has opened two lounges at Botswana’s newly upgraded Kasane International Airport. MD of Nthula Airport Lounges, Thelma Maswikiti, told Tourism Update that the lounges were accessible, for a fee, to all passengers who had checked in for their flights, regardless of airline and class of travel.
The lounges are situated in the domestic and international departures halls and are only accessible to passengers who have checked in for their flights. “The lounge fee is BWP299 (€26) per visit for walk-ins, and agreed corporate rates for passengers accessing the lounge through partner cards,” said Maswikiti.
The new Nthula International Lounge can accommodate 85 guests, and the domestic lounge seats 48 guests. They offer free WiFi Internet access, newspapers and magazines, and complimentary food and beverages.
Nthula Airport Lounges also operates a lounge at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport in Gaborone. It opened in 2013 and seats 28 guests.
Kasane international Airport provides access to one of the country’s prime tourism regions. The airport opened an upgraded terminal building this month, led by President Seretse Khama Ian Khama.
