After four years of construction, Sheger Royal Hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, recently opened its doors.
The 36-room six-storey hotel in Bole Medhanyalem, close to Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, is expected to employ 80 people, reports Capital Ethiopia.
Sheger Royal Hotel was built and is owned by Tadele Kassa, at a cost of over ETB200 million (€6 million).
The on-site restaurant offers continental breakfasts and kid’s meals. In addition, there are two bars, parking for up to 20 vehicles, spa and steam bath, gym, presidential room, and complimentary WiFi.
The business centre has three meeting halls, one of which can accommodate up to 280 delegates, and a 24-hour front desk.
The hotel, which is wheelchair accessible, was officially inaugurated on May 12.
Sheger Royal Hotel is located in the Bole Medhanyalem area of Addis Ababa, near the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.
