Serendib Hotels and Resorts in Malawi has launched a new floating restaurant, at Blue Waters by Serendib on the south-west coast of Lake Malawi.

The Namalenje Lake Cruise experience offers guests a gentle two-hour trip around Namalenje Island in Senga, serving breakfast or dinner. The boat accommodates 40 seated guests and dinner cruises include a guided tour by the captain, packed with information about the region.

The Namalenje Lake Cruise is also available for private bookings, including weddings, birthdays and conferences.

Prices range from K12 000 (€14) per adult for dinner and K9 500 (€11) for breakfast. Children are welcome and booking is essential.
