Serengeti Balloon Safaris launched new flights over the Ngorongoro Conservation Area side of Ndutu in December last year following the commencement of operations in Ruaha National Park in June.

The flights take passengers over the plains, lakes and woodland areas and offer excellent wildebeest sightings.

“Our first flight was on December 20, and we’ve flown more than 250 passengers on the Ngorongoro side of Ndutu since then. It has been a real help for so many people, because now those staying on the Ngorongoro side – where there are more camps and lodges – don’t have to pay Serengeti entry fees in order to enjoy a balloon safari in the area,” says John Corse, Managing Director of Serengeti Balloon Safaris.

A new area will be included in the balloon safaris in June this year, with details still to come.
