The Kruger Grande pop-up camp will open in the Kruger National Park between July 1 and August 4.
One of Chiefs Tented Camp’s most outstanding luxury tented camps, Kruger Grande is a seasonal mobile camp with 25 fully serviced luxury cottage tents. Tents have double beds with luxury linen, electric blankets, mosquito nets, and plug points for charging devices, along with other necessary and luxury amenities.
The camp features a lounge, fireplace lounging area in the riverbed, communal dining area, Safari Bar, and lantern-lit walkways. As credit card facilities are limited, cash is recommended.
Activities include two daily game drives in the park. Conservation fees are not included, and are payable to SanParks on entry to KNP – the standard conservation fee for foreign visitors is R372 nett per adult per day.
No private vehicles are allowed in the camp, with designated parking available in Skukuza. There are daily transfers to and from Skukuza, which is about an hour’s drive from the camp, at dedicated times: 10h00 and 14h00.
There is no WiFi and mobile signal at the camp, so Kruger Grande provides the ideal environment for the ultimate bush escape.
