South African National Parks has released its daily visitor quota for the Kruger National Park, which will be implemented from December 13 to January 14.
“For busy periods, such as the school holidays and the festive season, we aim to better manage the volumes, as well as our visitors’ expectations,” said Ike Phaahla, General Manager of Communications and Marketing for KNP.
KNP has set up allocated time slots when visitors must arrive. These are from 05h30 to 07h30, 07h30 to 09h30 and 09h30 onwards.
“The three different time slots aim to improve the spread of vehicles and, as far as possible, prevent unnecessary waiting periods at gates,” said Phaahla.
