Air Tanzania will resume flights between Dar es Salaam and Mumbai twice a week from August 30.
On Mondays and Fridays, flights will depart from Dar es Salaam at 19h50 and arrive in Mumbai at 04h20 the next day. The return flights will depart Mumbai at 05h50 on Tuesdays and Saturdays and arrive in Dar es Salaam at 09h20.
The flights to Mumbai were suspended in May due the increase of COVID-19 cases in India.
Meanwhile, Air Tanzania is expanding its network with the resumption of regional routes and the introduction of new ones. It has resumed flights to Lusaka, Harare, Bujumbura, Entebbe and Guangzhou and has plans to fly to Kigali, Lubumbashi, Lagos, Nairobi, London and Bangkok.
