A new safari camp by the Madagascar Classic Collection, Namoroka Tsingy Camp, situated in the 220-square kilometre Tsingy de Namoroka National Park north-west of Madagascar, is set to open next month.
This intimate camp features five private tents, all with their own outdoor living area. Each en suite tent is furnished with a luxury four-poster bed, a desk, closet and luggage rack.
Operating from May to November from next year, the camp's 2024 season will commence on August 15 and close on November 10. With only five exquisite tents available for booking this year and an expanded offering of nine tents in 2025, early reservations are recommended.
Guests can immerse themselves in a variety of activities such as birding safaris, sundowner boat cruises, canoeing and walking safaris.
The biodiverse Tsingy de Namoroka National Park features six distinct ecosystems. From the iconic Tsingy rock formations and extensive cave systems to dry forests, bamboo groves, riverine landscapes and wetlands, the park is a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts.
It is home to 10 lemur species, including the charming Von der Decken's sifaka and the elusive aye-aye. The park also boasts 21 bat species, two carnivores such as the fossa, and over 100 bird species, providing a unique opportunity to explore Madagascar's rich natural heritage.
