Kenya Airways (KQ) has announced the following network adjustments in anticipation of the upcoming peak season to ensure more efficient operations:

Plaine Magnien, Mauritius
Effective October 27, there will be an additional flight from Mauritius to Nairobi. The flights will now operate on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. -
Moroni, Comoros Islands
Effective October 28, there will be one additional flight frequency from Nairobi to Comoros on Thursdays. The flights will now operate on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. -
Zanzibar, Tanzania
Effective October 28, night flights from Zanzibar will increase to seven flights weekly. -
New York, USA
For the period from December 5 to January 4, there will be two additional flights from Nairobi to New York. The two additional flights will operate on Thursday and Saturday. -
Kigali, Rwanda
Effective November 1, there will be one additional flight from Nairobi to Kigali on Fridays. This will increase the total flights to Kigali to 25 flights weekly. -
Mogadishu, Somalia
Effective October 15, KQ suspended all flights into and out of Mogadishu due to operational challenges. This will allow the airline to refocus its efforts on optimising its route network and improving overall operational efficiency.
