Air Mauritius will resume its seasonal non-stop flights from Mauritius to Geneva for the second consecutive year from October 4 until April 28. The airline will operate twice-weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays. The route will be serviced by the Airbus A330-900neo aircraft.
“Due to increase in demand on the Geneva route, Air Mauritius is strengthening its presence in Europe. The airline currently operates daily flights to London Gatwick and Paris Charles de Gaulle on its European network,” stated Charles Cartier, Air Mauritius CEO.
Arvind Bundhun, Director of the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority, said: “We are pleased to welcome once again direct flights by Air Mauritius to Geneva. Direct accessibility is certainly important in providing a seamless experience for the trade and consumers in Switzerland, which is among our top European markets. This direct flight will contribute to consolidating our positioning in Switzerland as the ideal destination for families, honeymooners and golfers and attract repeaters.”
