Filming dates at the Swadini section of the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve in the Drakensberg escarpment region of eastern Mpumalanga in South Africa, have been extended from February 28 to March 20.
There will therefore be access restrictions to the Swadini section of the reserve, waterfall and the path leading to the waterfall. However, tourists will still have full access to Blyde River Canyon, boat trips, and attractions like Bourke’s Luck Potholes, God’s Window and all other viewpoints along the canyon.
Boat operators and those wishing to access the dam can do so on specific days, by prior arrangement with Blyde Adventure Centre.
