City Lodge Hotel Group is upgrading a number of its hotels, with the latest being City Lodge Hotel Durban and Town Lodge Johannesburg Airport.

In Durban, the first phase of refurbishment was completed in February with final work due for completion by early June. Upgrades include new carpets in the hotel’s commercial area, a new layout of the bathrooms and complete overhaul of the bedrooms.

At Town Lodge Johannesburg Airport the overhaul includes a renovated commercial area including new lighting, artwork and flooring. The exterior of the hotel has also been revamped with a remodelled main entrance and a new patio from the main lounge.

The group is finalising plans and budgets for refurbishments that will take place at other hotels in 2018/19.
