A guided walk – with the aim of keeping concierges and front-office hotel staff up to date with the latest attractions in the area – will take place in Sandton on March 18.
The Johannesburg In Your Pocket team, who launched a series of fold-out miniature guides last year to help tourists easily navigate the city, held their first neighbourhood concierge walk in Rosebank last October.
The upcoming Sandton walk coincides with the launch of the new issue of the Sandton In Your Pocket Mini-Guide.
The group of up to 25 people will be led by Johannesburg In Your Pocket Editor, Laurice Taitz, Deputy Editor, Louise Whitworth, Projects Manager, Melusi Hlatshwayo, and writer, Kupakwashe Kambeshe.
“We usually keep the route a surprise as each time we curate a specific story of the neighbourhood. In this case what we can share is that we will visit Sandton's newest art treasure, its tallest landmark, and its best park,” says Taitz.
