Essence Eats Culinary Festival will take place from November 11-13 at Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre, in Durban, South Africa.
Visitors will be taken on a three-day culinary experience filled with local signature dishes from some of Durban’s most popular restaurants as well as gourmet dishes from critically acclaimed New Orleans-based chef, Kenneth Temple. Most of the restaurants will have their chefs on stage and cooking up a storm in demonstrations.
The Small Business Development Programme, which aims to encourage small hospitality enterprises, will also launch at the festival. A small eatery will be given guidance in terms of a day-to-day running of its restaurant and will be given space on stage for a cooking demo.
