The establishment of a specialised task force has successfully cracked down on crime against tourists on the Numbi Road leading to the Kruger National Park, but the overall consensus from our latest poll is that enhanced security has not been noticed on various roads around the park.
Of respondents, 56% said they had not noticed any stronger policing or security measures, and 22% stated unequivocally that there had been no improvement. The remaining 22% did note enhanced security measures on the roads.
