Rezidor, part of the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has announced its first property in Durban: the Radisson Blu Hotel, Durban Umhlanga featuring 207 rooms and set to open in 2019.
The hotel will be designed as an urban resort within Oceans Umhlanga, a mixed-use complex, which will also include luxury apartments and a shopping mall.
The hotel will feature Radisson Blu signature services such as free high speed internet and an all-day-dining restaurant; a lobby bar and coffee shop; a rooftop outdoor bar and terrace and a business class lounge. The meeting and events area will cover approximately 1,200sqm and a spa, gym and outdoor pool will complement the facilities.

The group’s total portfolio comprises 67 hotels with almost 15,000 rooms in operation or under development.
