Kwandwe Private Game Reserve in Grahamstown recently launched a three-day Campfire Cooking experience, where guests learn to cook authentic South African braai dishes.
Kwandwe’s head chefs will teach guests how to prepare and make a three-course meal by the campfire, using impala, kudu, ostrich, warthog and gemsbok. Guests will also learn how to make boerewors (sausages) and how to build the perfect fire.
A new tarred 2.1km runway on the reserve allows short-range aircraft to land at the reserve, reducing travelling time for guests.
Kwandwe has nine Main lodge suites, six Ecca lodge suites, a three-bedroom villa and a swimming pool.
