Set within Kenya’s Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Entim Camp recently completed upgrades to its Private Wing.
Azim Rajwani, CEO ofAfrica Eco Group, which owns Entim Camp amongst others, says the work was completed last week.
The upgrades are simple yet stylish, and the wing is fitted with all the comforts and luxuries to enhance guests’ experience.
The Private Wing comprises eight tents that overlook a small spring surrounded by trees, and can accommodate a maximum of 16 guests. Each tent has been fitted with an electronic safe, solar showers, flushing toilets and bath amenities.
The camp is designed for solo travellers, couples and small groups looking for complete exclusivity, as guests can view wildlife directly from the tents’ private verandas. “The eight rooms have also been raised on a platform, so each guest tent has views of the wildlife,” adds Rajwani. Pathways to the guest tents were moved to the rear to allow for more privacy.

According to Rajwani, all the common areas were upgraded, including the bar and dining area, the reception, the camp’s shop and photographic studio which have been interconnected and all raised on a deck with views over the Mara, overlooking one of the migration crossing points.
Private Wing boasts a bar, lounge, dining mess tent, a viewing deck, a photographic area equipped with Apple iMacs and an LCD projector and charging facilities. Complimentary high-speed WiFi and house drinks and wines are also included.
