Malawian Airlines has increased its direct flights between Johannesburg and both Lilongwe and Blantyre as a result of popular demand.

The flights will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Flight 3W024 departs Lilongwe at 08h00 and arrives in Johannesburg at 10h30. Return flight 3W025 departs Johannesburg at 18h20 and arrives in Lilongwe at 20h50. Flight 3W027 departs Johannesburg 11h25 and arrives in Blantyre at 13h40 and return flight 3W026 departs Blantyre at 15h05 and arrives in Johannesburg at 17h20.    

Malawian Airlines launched flights in February this year. It rebranded in 2013, following the collapse of Air Malawi and a subsequent partnership with Ethiopian Airlines, which owns 49% of the new airline.
