Entara Lodges & Camps will open the latest addition to its portfolio, Olkeri Camp, in Tarangire National Park in Tanzania's Manyara Region – primarily accessible through Kilimanjaro International Airport – on September 1.
Entara spokesperson, Hellen Opok, told Tourism Update that Olkeri Camp would have eight tented suites, comprising six double/twin tented chalets and two interconnecting Olkeri Camp is in the Randilen Wildlife management area and can be reached by road or light aircraft. It is a 30-minute drive from Randilen airstrip and a one-and-a-half-hour drive from Kuro airstrip.
The camp will be open throughout the year and activities include game drives, walking safaris, fly camping, cultural tours, night game drives and hot-air balloon safaris.
Entara is a collection of curated camps and lodges in the wilderness areas of Tanzania. Other properties in the portfolio include Katambuga House in Arusha, Kisima Ngeda Camp in Lake Eyasi, Esirai Migration Camp (a seasonal mobile camp that operates between north and southern Serengeti), and Olmara Camp in Eastern Serengeti.
