The Spirit of the Masai Mara, a boutique lodge in Kenya’s private Siana Conservancy, is under new management.
Offbeat Safaris has taken over reservations for the lodge from mid-November and owners, Nadja and Justin McCarthy have taken back management of the lodge.
The lodge is also accessible via a 45-minute flight from Wilson Airport in Nairobi.
Spirit of the Masai Mara comprises 10 air-conditioned suites, each with a private bar, bedroom, and bathroom with tub and shower.
“We were looking for a high-end property in the Masai Mara to complement our circuit. By adding Spirit of the Masai Mara to our portfolio we now have a top luxury lodge in this area,” says Tanyth Flatt, GM of Offbeat Safaris.
Offbeat Safaris’ portfolio comprises Sosian Lodge (high-end lodge) and Ekorian's Mugie Camp (traditional tented camp) in West Laikipia; Offbeat Mara Camp in Mara North Conservancy (traditional tented camp); Deloraine House in Nakuru; Rongai (luxurious house); and the Offbeat Horse Riding Safaris (mobile horse safaris).
