Debra Sivertsen has been appointed GM of Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront in Cape Town. Siversten, who began her career at the hotel, formerly Viall Via, has held management positions at various hotels, including Park Inn on Greenmarket Square and Protea Hotel North Wharf. 
Karkloof Safari Spa in KwaZulu Natal has appointed new members to its sales team. Wayne Suttie has been appointed International Sales Manager and Robyn Turner, Sanet Maartens and Debbie Mayes will head up sales in KwaZulu Natal, Cape Town and Johannesburg respectively.
Suttie has more than 10 years’ experience in sales and marketing after starting his career as a ranger at Sabi Sabi. In his new role, he will be looking after the international inbound markets and clients.   

Ahmed Ershood Al Shehhi has been appointed Etihad Airways GM in the Republic of the Seychelles. He replaces Rashed Saif Al Shabi who has taken up the role of GM in Cyprus. Ershood Al Shehhi will work closely with international tourism partners in developing the leisure and business passenger traffic between the Seychelles and key destinations across the airline’s network. 
Iata has appointed Raphael Kuuchi Vice President for Africa, effective February 17. Kuuchi joins Iata from the African Airlines Association (AFRAA) where he was the Director of Commercial, Corporate and Industry Affairs based at AFRAA headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.

Ed Winter fastjet CEO and Kyle Hayward, fastjet GM South Africa, have been joined by Ami Mpungwe and Lawrence Masha, who will serve as non-executive directors. Angus Saunders, fastjet Chief Financial Officer, and Richard Bodin, fastjet Chief Commercial Officer also join as Executive Directors.
