Mari Theunissen has been promoted to Marketing Manager at Camp Jabulani and the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre (HESC).
Theunissen started her career in April 2010 at the Head Office of Camp Jabulani and the HESC. Initially starting as assistant to Adine Roode, MD of Camp Jabulani, Theunissen became involved in the marketing of both companies and was promoted to Marketing Assistant.
From early 2012, she took on the role of Marketing Representative, representing Camp Jabulani and the HESC in Australia and New Zealand, travelling both locally and internationally on several occasions.
Roode said: “I am extremely proud of Mari. She is such a hard worker and although I will miss her as my right hand, I am sure she will add more value to the business in this capacity.”
Christian Hyman has been appointed Executive Sous Chef at Emerald Resort & Casino’s restaurant, High Stakes.
The resort is situated on a private river estate along the Vaal River in Vanderbijlpark, on the border of Gauteng and the Free State.
Hyman has more than 13 years’ cooking experience, which includes owning and managing his own bistro; Executive Sous Chef for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines; and working at properties across South Africa.
