Tala Private Game Reserve in Pietermaritzburg will be trading independently and will no longer fall under any hotel management company or brand. Hospitality Specialist, Andre Greeff, has been appointed by shareholders and administrators to manage the process.

This decision came after the reserve had been in business rescue for the last six months.

“Tala Collection Private Game Reserve will honour all reservations that were confirmed prior to December 15, 2015, on the terms agreed with aha/Three Cities, the previous management company. Tala will make further announcements regarding seasonal packages and rates over the coming months. New rates will be applied to all unconfirmed bookings,” said Greeff.

The day-to-day operations of Tala are being overseen by the newly appointed GM, Mike Nunan, with operational management input by Arthur Collett, both of whom have considerable experience in hospitality and the game lodge environment.
