The travel trade should warn guests booked into the Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife Giant’s Castle Resort in the Mahlutshini area to delay their trip until further notice.
Tourism Update received a WhatsApp notice from Ezemvelo this morning that community members had blocked the road to the resort in protest.
At this stage, according to a spokesperson for Ezemvelo, the reason behind the blockage is not clear.
“The police have been informed and will be on the scene shortly to engage the community,” the spokesperson said.
