TAP Air Portugal has confirmed that it will increase its flights between Lisbon and Maputo to four (up from the current three) by March 31 next year.
According to airline representative, Catarina Coelho, the additional flight will be on Thursdays. Departures from Lisbon are scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, taking off at 19h15 and arriving at 06h45 the following day. Return flights from Maputo are set for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, departing at 08h30 and arriving in Lisbon at 18h25.
The route will be served by an Airbus A330-900.
TAP Air Portugal also introduced a new route to Angola in May, connecting Luanda and Porto with two flights from Lisbon per week.
