South African National Parks (SANParks) has announced that maintenance work on the R27 gate at West Coast National Park, in Saldanha Bay, Western Cape, began on February 3 and is expected to continue for six months.
Visitors should anticipate possible delays or temporary disruptions to traffic flow at the entrance. Travellers to the park are advised to allow extra time for the journey and follow traffic management measures.
The project is part of ongoing infrastructure improvements within the park. SANParks will provide updates as work progresses.
