After more than four decades in the tourism industry, train tour specialist, JB Train Tours, will close on February, 15.
CEO, Johan Badenhorst told Tourism Update that, although he would be meeting two potential buyers during the week, the company was still set to close its doors on Saturday.
“Unfortunately we could not find new jobs yet for our experienced affected staff,” said Badenhorst. “We’ve made many friends and created many good memories on tours over all these years. We have many tales to tell, but we’ll stick with the good ones.”
Clients who have booked and paid with JB Train Tours for upcoming tours in 2020 will be fully compensated.
