Great Plains Conservation has unveiled a range of upgrades for some of its luxury tented camps in Kenya’s Maasai Mara.
Mara Nyika Camp has reopened after an upgrade, showcasing its exclusive new two-bedroom Sambuk Suite. The suite has a private entrance and includes the services of a dedicated butler, vehicle, and guide, all included in the nightly rate.
A family suite also opened on May 13 at Mara Expedition Camp, featuring a new, two-bedroom tent.
In addition, Ol Donyo Lodge is undergoing a significant rebuild, which is expected to be complete by the end of this month. The lodge will feature eight Deluxe Pool Suites and a two-bedroom Sambu Suite.
Mara Plains, which reopened in March, has added new doors to the tents and raised walkways leading to the Jahazi Suite.
Great Plains Conservation operates luxury tented camps throughout southern and East Africa, with a prominent presence in Kenya, Botswana, and Zimbabwe.
