Val du Charron Wine & Olive Estate, Guesthouse and Spa, a 10-minute drive from Wellington in the Western Cape, is expanding its accommodation facilities, with nine new, four-star rooms scheduled to open in August next year.

“Construction will not interfere with normal operations,” says owner, Catherine Entwistle.

“Our current four-star accommodation is made up of a large family room, four double rooms and three twin rooms on a bed-and-breakfast basis. We have recently refurbished the bathrooms with new frameless shower doors, floor-to-ceiling tiles and more packing space, and the bedrooms have new dressing tables with fitted minibar fridges.”

Located on a working vineyard with its own cellar, the estate also offers five-star accommodation, an on-site spa and two restaurants.
