A new luxury tented camp, Sango Dadiso Camp, is scheduled to open in May in Zimbabwe's 200-sqkm Sango Private Game Reserve.
The camp comprises four luxury tents, three guides' tents, a gym and spa tent, a spacious dining tent, a swimming pool and a barbecue area featuring an open pizza oven.
Guest tents have ensuite bathrooms, including tubs and outdoor showers, as well as private balconies. The dining tent, strategically placed for wildlife observation, also features a plunge swimming pool overlooking a busy waterhole across the seasonal river bed.
Activities include guided bush walks, birding safaris, and game drives. Conveniently situated in the Savé Valley Conservancy, Sango Dadiso Camp has two certified landing strips suitable for light bush aircraft. The camp is easily accessible with a one-hour flight or a five-hour drive from Harare.
Established in 1993 by Wilfried Pabst, Sango Private Game Reserve is a sanctuary for African wildlife and endangered species. The reserve, in the southeast of Zimbabwe, now comprises three camps, including the new Sango Dadiso Camp, along with Sango Igwe Lodge and Sango Expedition Camp.
