Inbound association SATSA and DMO Africa’s Eden have announced a strategic partnership that will leverage the respective strengths of both associations for the benefit of their members across southern Africa.
The partnership combines SATSA’s formidable lobbying power and industry issue management in South Africa with Africa's Eden’s marketing strengths and extensive network in seven countries.
"By combining SATSA's lobbying muscle with Africa's Eden marketing finesse, the members of both associations now have access to expanded benefits that will directly help their businesses grow. Our partnership makes sense because of our complementary strengths and areas of focus," said SATSA CEO David Frost.
The partnership is expected to yield the following benefits for members of both organisations:
- Amplified marketing opportunities: Leveraging extensive Africa’s Eden marketing initiatives such as international roadshows and workshops.
- Powerful advocacy: Benefitting from SATSA's proven track record in government and media lobbying and resolving industry issues.
- Cross-regional opportunities: Market linkages between members that span borders within Southern Africa.
- United industry voice: Stronger, more cohesive representation on behalf of members in global tourism dialogues.
