The Zanzibar Collection Hotel Group is set to unveil its new hotel, the Zawadi Hotel, on Zanzibar Island in July this year.

Group GM, Tony Sawe, says Zawadi Hotel is the latest addition to the Zanzibar Collection. The hotel is located on the south coast of Zanzibar, North of Bwejuu, approximately an hour drive from Zanzibar Airport.

Zawadi offers guests accommodation in nine 100sqm luxury villas, each with ensuite bathrooms and a spacious terrace overlooking the Indian Ocean. Facilities include an infinity swimming pool, dinning area, pool bar, restaurant, evening bar and lounge as well as a spa.

“The one-roomed villas are ideal for couples on leisure as well as newlyweds on honeymoon,” Sawe explains. “Guest too can enjoy swimming in the sea throughout the day and go snorkelling straight from the beach.”

Sawe notes that the new hotel is expected to host holidaymakers from the European markets of United Kingdom, Germany, France and Spain.

The Zanzibar Collection’s other hotels are Baraza Beach Resort and Spa, Breezes Beach Club and Spa and the Palms Zanzibar Hotel.

Sawe said the Group was banking on the luxury villas to give its clientele a wide range of products.
