A new hotel, The Old Rectory, owned and managed by Rare Earth, is set to open in Plettenberg Bay in August 2017.
The Rectory was built in 1776 and is being restored and transformed to an 18-room boutique hotel. The twin and double rooms will be surrounded by indigenous gardens and facilities will include a swimming pool, bar, restaurant and library.
The hotel is close to the beach and is about a 15-minute drive to Plettenberg Bay Airport. Complimentary transfers to the airport and to town will be offered to guests, as well as packed beach lunches.
